Future Power Capital Ltd was incorporated on 10 October 2025. As we build out the team behind our venture and development capital, management consultancy, and engineering-related scientific and technical consulting activity, we are hiring for a small number of genuinely open roles, and we work with independent introducers, deal originators, advisors, and professionals who prefer to collaborate outside a salaried role.

Our approach to hiring

The company is led by its founder and sole director, Silas Trent, as recorded on the Companies House register, together with the leadership and advisory team introduced on the Team page. As the company's activity develops, roles are added to this page as and when they are genuinely open, not before, and not to make the company look larger than it is.

The three salaried roles below are tied directly to the group's registered activities: holding and capital allocation, venture and development capital, management consultancy, and engineering-related scientific and technical consulting. Each listing states a real scope of work. Beyond these roles, we also work with independent introducers, deal originators, advisors, and professionals on a non-salaried basis: see Partnerships & Collaborations below. About the role

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to support the screening, research, and due diligence work behind our venture and development capital activity. You will work closely with the director on evaluating inbound applications received through our Apply For Funding process, building sector and company analysis, and helping structure the information that feeds into investment decisions.

Responsibilities

Screen and triage inbound funding applications against our published eligibility criteria.
Build company, market, and sector research to support internal review.
Support financial and commercial due diligence on shortlisted opportunities.
Prepare clear, structured summaries and recommendations for internal decision-making.
Track the pipeline of applications and maintain accurate internal records.

What we're looking for

A relevant degree (finance, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with close attention to detail.
Comfort working with ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team with few established processes.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Genuine interest in venture and development capital across a broad range of sectors.

About the role

We need an Operations Manager to bring order to the day-to-day running of a company that is still building its internal systems. You will own the operational backbone of the business, from supplier and office administration through to internal processes, compliance record-keeping, and coordination between functions as the team grows.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day operational administration, including office, supplier, and vendor management.
Establish and document internal processes as the company scales its team.
Support statutory and administrative record-keeping alongside the director.
Coordinate onboarding for new hires as roles on this page are filled.
Identify and fix operational inefficiencies before they become structural problems.

What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience in an operations, office management, or business administration role, ideally within a small or early-stage company where you had to build processes rather than simply follow them. Highly organised, practical, and comfortable being the person who makes things work.

About the role

The Deep Tech Research Associate role sits within our engineering-related scientific and technical consulting activity, supporting the Deep Tech Programme. You will assess the technical merit of engineering-led and scientifically intensive projects that apply for funding, working alongside the investment team to translate deep technical detail into clear, decision-ready analysis.

Responsibilities

Assess the technical feasibility and credibility of engineering and deep-tech funding applications.
Research emerging technologies and translate technical detail for a non-specialist audience internally.
Support technical due diligence alongside the Investment Analyst function.
Help maintain the technical evaluation framework used by the Deep Tech Programme.
Stay current with developments across relevant deep-tech and engineering fields.

What we're looking for

A background in engineering, physical sciences, or a related technical discipline (degree-level or equivalent experience), with the ability to assess technical claims critically and communicate findings clearly to a non-technical audience. Prior exposure to venture capital, technology transfer, or R&D-intensive environments is a plus but not required.
