Investment & Advisory · London
Capital and counsel | for people building something real.
Future Power Capital is an investment house for founders, established businesses and scientific teams. We back companies with our own capital, advise on the decisions that matter, and help ambitious ideas find their next stage, across venture, private equity, real estate and a dedicated deep tech initiative.
Who we are
An investment house, not a lecture on what one is.
Future Power Capital puts its own capital behind companies and ideas we believe in, and puts real advisory work behind the teams we back. We look for founders solving hard problems, established businesses ready for their next chapter, and scientific teams whose work deserves more than a pitch deck. We work as a partner, not a passive cheque: hands-on where it helps, out of the way where it doesn't.

Founder
Silas Trent
Founder & Director of Future Power Capital.
Silas looks for businesses and teams with a clear, defensible reason to exist, not a story that only works in a pitch deck. Before any capital moves, the questions are practical: what problem is being solved, why this team is positioned to solve it, and what has to be true for the business to hold up over a full cycle, not just the next round.
The horizon is long by design. Future Power Capital is built to hold positions through the work of building a company, a portfolio, or a project (across venture and development capital, real estate, and science-led ventures) rather than to trade in and out of them. That is also why the structure stays independent: Silas is the company's founder and sole director, and holds its entire issued share capital, which means every commitment of capital is a decision he takes directly and is accountable for, without deferring to an external board or a parent company.
That same independence is what allows the firm to back emerging companies, technology, real estate and scientific projects on their own merits, and to work alongside outside expertise (through the relationships described on our Partners page) without answering to interests outside the company itself.
