Who we are

Future Power Capital is a London-based investment house. We commit our own capital to companies we believe in, and we back that capital with real advisory work: strategy, organisation, and the judgment that comes from having built things ourselves.

We are based at The Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London, in the heart of one of Europe's most active start-up and scale-up neighbourhoods, which is exactly where we want to be.

What we do

Our activity spans four broad areas: we invest as principal in businesses at every stage, from early ventures to established companies opening their capital; we advise portfolio companies and other teams on strategy and organisation; we hold real assets, including property, as part of a diversified balance sheet; and we run a dedicated deep tech programme for scientific and engineering-led teams. What ties them together is a single approach: we act as an investor first, not an intermediary. The capital we commit is our own, and every decision is made under our own governance, which means we can move with the judgment of an owner, not the caution of a committee acting for someone else.

A young house, built for the long run

Future Power Capital is a newly established house. We treat that as the starting point of a structure built to last: clear governance, a single accountable founder and director, and a set of activities we intend to grow deliberately rather than dilute. As our history lengthens, this page will grow with it, but what we stand for today is what we intend to stand for at scale.

How we are capitalised

Future Power Capital's issued and fully paid share capital is GBP 10,000,000. That capital base is the foundation from which we commit to the businesses and programmes described across this site: it is not itself the story; what we do with it is.
